Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?
DELTA M.W.A. aims to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of the poor women and men in urban areas of Kurnool district, India.
(A) To promote productivity and thereby increase the income of poor urban women and men through micro finance.
(B) To promote income generating activities of poor people through micro finance.
What is your project and how will it help?
The chief founder Mr. S.S.Ahmed had been in the field of marketing for more than two decades and during his journey he has noticed that many urban poor women and men are struggling hard to earn their minimum income and it has motivated him to create DELTA M.W.A. in the year of 2010. With the strong ambition to reduce the poverty level and to save the poor small scale traders from the clutches of money lenders, he has today proudly seen 1300 clients and is looking forward to increase the number of clients to 2500 by 2015.
