All Cancer and Liver disease patients and physicians in the middle east , and making sure that the latest treatment options and care are available for them.

What is your project and how will it help?

Our project is to set up Centers of Excellence for the treatment of Cancer, Hepatitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, etc.in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. These Centers will be based out of either current medical centers or through national societies.

The education is done through web portals for each Center and the expert treating physician or Key Opinion Leader will host it.This is similar to a project I completed in the U.S, working with the Chronic Liver Foundation, where I set up 60+ Centers of Excellence.

This will help educate community physicians, by rapid access to information and guidelines, plus the ability to have treatment or diagnosis questions answered by a respected specialist.

Cancer , Hepatitis and Inflammatory Bowel Disease are rampant in the third World, and this will provide help and better treatment options for those who need it, in a effective, cost-saving manner.

How can other people partner with you on your project?

We need a grant or funding to set up the portals, and video tape the latest updates in each disease state by Center. We are planning on ~ 30-40 centers, as needed.

The amount needed is 1.3 million USD for 30 Centers and 1.8 million USD for 40 Centers. The cost is approximately 45,000 USD per Center.
