Help needed to equip a primary school in Uganda
Requested by
Quintos Primary SchoolWho are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?
Quintos Primary School is a community school established by concerned parents in the Wakiso district who want children from poor backgrounds to have a quality education. These children, including orphans, cannot afford the cost of school fees, and there are many girls who drop out of school because of early pregnancies.
Land for the school has been purchased and buildings have been put up but the school still lacks basic facilities like furniture, library books, computers, clean water and transport for the children who have to come from distant places.
What is your project and how will it help?
The school aims to provide quality education for children with poor family backgrounds, and for girl drop-outs, helping them to continue with their education. To be effective, the school needs to be fully equipped.
How can other people partner with you on your project?
