Real Aid is an international non-governmental, non-political, non-religious independent organisation which is constituted as a charity under a memorandum and articles of association, the charity number being 1089316. It has an established network with headquarters near Beverley, East Yorkshire and international offices in Sierra Leone, Albania and Bulgaria. Real Aid sends aid on a regular basis to various projects in Africa and Eastern Europe. Our Mission statement is “to advance education worldwide and for the public benefit to relieve persons and in particular children who are suffering from sicknesses, needs, hardship or distress anywhere in the world as a result of famine, drought, flood, war or any other calamities”. Real Aid does not rely on outside funding, all present costs can be met from income from our charity shops.
