The Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC) is the central coordination agency for all landmine issues and operations in Thailand. Organisational activities include the coordination, monitoring and implementation of mine clearance, the surveying of landmine and other unexploded ordnance, awareness raising and victim assistance. TMAC is also responsible for establishing a programme to meet Thailand’s obligations as a signatory to the Ottawa Treaty Prohibiting the Use, Stockpiling, Production, and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines.
