SOS Kinderdorf International (SOS) is made up of a network of over one hundred associations. SOS is best known for their Children’s Villages which provide a permanent, stable home to children who have either lost their parents or are unable to live with their parents. The first SOS community, SOS Children’s Village Bolluca, in Turkey was completed in the spring of 1992. Today, Turkey has one SOS children’s village, one SOS Youth Facility and one kindergarten.
