The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) in Argentina is an autonomous community-based NGO affiliated to the worldwide YWCA movement based in Geneva. The movement aims to improve the living conditions of women through programmes and projects tailored to local needs. The YWCA has been active in Argentina since 1998, and currently runs skills training programmes for women, and workshops on domestic violence. The YWCA also provides language training.
