Donate NZ is a portal where individuals, organisations and companies can donate goods, time and discounts to schools and not-for-profit organisations in New Zealand.
Would-be donors list what they have to offer, while recipients have the opportunity to accept what they want. No money is involved, while the benefits of this service include saving time and money, recycling, reducing waste and reusing goods, and an element of community development as people are put in touch with one another.
The online service is managed by the Donate Charitable Trust, a registered NGO.
