Located in Essex, the Newport Free Grammar School is a specialist language college for ages 11-18. The school focuses on academic achievement, extra-curricular activities (to develop personal qualities such as self-confidence, high self-esteem and leadership), and an international programme to equip students for life in a multi-cultural society (student exchanges have been conducted with France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA).
