Rotary Dictionary Project

The goal of this project is provide a hard-back Scholastic Children’s Dictionary free to all USA 3rd grade students in a local service area served by local Rotary Club members. Clubs purchase books from project headquarters at a discount price. Started in November 2001, the project distributed 15,000 dictionaries last year, in six states. The annual distribution occurs during the second and third weeks of November each year.
