The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (RD) provides acute hospital services to people resident in Exeter, east and mid Devon, and offers specialist services such as cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopaedic surgery, paediatric care and renal services to people living further afield (across Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Dorset and Somerset). The RDalso runs the Honeylands Children’s Centre (for specialist assessment and support for children with special needs and their families), the Exeter Mobility Centre (providing orthotics, prosthetics, wheelchairs and special seating), and the Mardon Neuro-rehabilitation Centre.
