The Togolese Red Cross Society is a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the world’s largest humanitarian organisation, providing assistance without discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. The Togolese Red Cross works with displaced people, helps with preparedness for disasters, and runs programmes for capacity building which include management and volunteer training. The organisation is also involved in fund-raising, primary health care and first aid.
