ActionAid is an international anti-poverty agency whose aim is to fight poverty worldwide. It operates in more than 30 developing countries- working alongside poor and marginalised communities to help them fight for and gain their rights to food, shelter, work, education, healthcare and a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. ActionAid’s priorities in Afghanistan include capacity building of non-governmental organisations (NGOs), education and women’s rights.
