Fair Trade Egypt (FTE) is s nonprofit organization whose goal is to empower Egyptian artisans through the practice of fair trade.

FTE surveys the developing areas of the country, finds local treasures that have been traditionally manufactured for centuries and brings them to consumers. FTE works with 30 artisan groups in 7 different regions of the country.

FTE assists talented but struggling Egyptian artisans who have been particularly hard-hit by industrialization and globalization by showcasing their products in a store in Cairo, by liaising between the producers and international importers, and by providing training intended to modernise the operations of the artisans.
