Association Malienne pour la Promotion du Sahel (AMAPROS) is a non-governmental organisation working to promote public health in sub-Saharan Mali. Its activities include increasing women’s involvement with local vegetable gardens, augmenting animal protein production, increasing availability of clean drinking water by constructing new wells, building maternal and child health clinics, providing education on health, child nutrition, family planning and HIV/AIDS prevention.
