Ssamba Foundation is an Non-government organization based in Mukono, Uganda founded in 2006 by Hon. Isaac Ssamba and it designs and conducts programs which contribute to the welfare and social productivity of disadvantaged individuals and communities with an emphasis on children and youth.
The organization addresses some of the most pervasive problems in rural Uganda, including HIV/AIDS, malaria, hunger, education, poverty, access to clean drinking water, and orphaned children. In addition, the organization focuses on on empowering young people through leadership and skills training.
Ssamba Foundation recruits volunteers for locally-run community, conservation, teaching, health, building and sports projects around the country.
