Evangelischen Entwicklungsdienst (EED) is an organisation of German Protestant Churches. EED supports the development work of Christian organisations, churches and the private sector by means of financial contributions, personnel involvement, scholarships and consultancy services (projects are usually supported for three years).

EED understands development as a process towards liberation from hunger, poverty and disease, and from unjust power structures, which violate people’s dignity and rights and prevent them from control over their vital resources.
