Ssamba Foundation is a registered non-profit community development organization. Operating in Mukono district, this Foundation manages a wide range of sustainable development and humanitarian projects since 2006.

Ssamba Foundation addresses some of the most pervasive problems in rural Uganda, including poor healthcare systems, hunger, poor education system, access to clean drinking water, environment degradation and extreme poverty.

In addition, the foundation focuses on empowering the youth of Uganda through leadership and skills training. The organization is founded on the principles that common humanity is more important than individual differences. Therefore, the Foundation operates on a non-political, non-denominational, and non-sectarian basis, welcoming each and every Ugandan in need.

The focus of the programs is on providing resources for quality social services delivery in under-resourced communities of Uganda. In order to uplift the youngest of our society however, it is often necessary to first assist adults and the communities in which they live.

Apart from being of benefit to the communities, collaboration and involvement in other projects creates links and partnerships with other NGOs and support organizations.
