Established in 1998, the United Kingdom branch of Global Vision International (GVI) provides support and services to international charities, non-profit organisations and governmental agencies through volunteering opportunities and direct funding. As a non-political, non-religious organisation, and through their alliance with over 150 project partners in over 30 countries, GVI provides opportunities for over 2,000 volunteers annually in aid-reliant projects worldwide to fill a critical void in the fields of environmental research, conservation, education and community development.

The organisation has offices in the UK, the US and Australia.
