The Oak Foundation is a group of charitable and philanthropic organisations formally established in 1998 in Geneva. The Foundation gives grants to not-for-profit organisations that address issues as environment and child abuse, housing and homelessness, human rights, issues affecting women and learning differences. There is also a Special Interest Grants Programme, which funds a range of efforts that do not fall into the other programme areas.
