KunDe Foundation is a relief and development agency committed to working with marginalized and disadvantaged communities anywhere in the world. The organization encourages and trains them to participate in and adopt sustainable and replicable activities which will help them to relieve poverty and improve health, education and the environment for the benefit of their community. The Foundation works extensively in the Lhoka Prefecture of Southern Tibet with the Health Bureau on health services, community development and the development of resources. Its specific projects include training heath care workers, building clinics in remote locations, providing assistance to the disabled and disadvantaged, offering carpentry training to youths and coordinating surgical camps for burn victims. KunDe Foundation also supports the development of health teaching resources in Tibetan and Chinese.
