The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the United Nations’ global development network, advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to build a better life.

The UNDP United Arab Emirates currently focuses on four broad themes of cooperation: governance; economic and social development; HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness; and the environment. Across these four areas, the UNDP provides policy advice and support to the decision-making process; institutional and human capacity development; advocacy and awareness-raising.
