Activities that CODRA has been engaged in recently:
The following are some of the project activities CODRA has been engaged to:
• Community based water and sanitation projects; Community involvements in construction of new water wells and rehabilitation of dilapidated water supply infrastructures. forum
• Promoting primary and secondary quality education delivery by involving the community.
CODRA has participated in the construction of primary and secondary schools classrooms, dormitories in Magu and Busega District. And improving the leaning and studing inveronmental by providing tools and untesil for trainer and schooler
• Good Governance: For over 3 years now CODRA has been fully involved in sensitizing grassroots community on Good Governance in Magu & BUSEGA District. In this area the main focus was to empower women and youth so that they could have greater influence on the democratic decision processes, by using study circles groups and ensuring grassroots communities participation in planning process and creating awareness of their basic rights.
• Rural micro-Credit and entripreneurship Development: CODRA is highly involved in Sensitizing rural community to join effort and establish VICOBA Village community Bank and SACCOs at village level as the main source of credit in their locality, it establishe women and youth artisan group and providing tools and link with financil institutions to access loan as capital for working.
• Health and HIV/AIDS prevention, care and counseling: CODRA is actively involved in HIV/AIDS Health Education to the Community that they work with.
• Enveronment and climate Change : Participating in environmental activities by seeking funds for establisment tree Nursuries and distributing seedlinds to community at Busega District, Simiyu Region Northern Tanzania for plantings.
