FABIO is an NGO based in Jinja, Uganda. The NGO was established in 1997. It promotes using the bike as a tool of change.
The mission is promoting sustainable transport and development solutions for equitable improved quality life through advocacy, awareness creation, capacity building, networking, bicycle accessibility. FABIO organises projects like : cycle to school, bicycle ambulance for village health teams, climate change awareness, non-motorised transport, and many others.
