‘Ped Panchayat’ is an organization that promotes : 1. planting more and more trees and protect them
2. mass awareness about the importance of trees and plants
3. saving of threatening plants and trees, 4. protecting and preserve indigenous species of plants and trees and other vegetation5. saving and preserving indigenous seeds of various trees, plants and crops.

The group also studies allied environmental issues like any type of pollution, greenhouse gases and their effect, ozone layer, global warming, climate change, wetlands, biodiversity, renewable energy, forestation etc. and alternatives for saving our planet mother earth from pollution. The group also raises different environmental issues and propagate to save water, trees, plants, energy, rivers, lakes, ponds & other wetlands, biodiversity forests,hills and earth by organizing events on these themes from time to time.

Ped Panchayat also advocates for traditional farming by using self made organic manures with a view for long and healthy life for all human beings. The group also shares the experiences of medicinal values of trees and plants and to create herbal parks or botanical gardens, celestial gardens, constellation gardens, park of vines, fruit gardens etc.
