Bakatawamu Information And Development Empowerment (BIDE)
Unverified non-profit organisation
Bakatawamu Information And Development Empowerment (BIDE) works in common cause with the poor and marginalized groups in Uganda, in particular, orphans and rural women, to make basic rights and social justice a reality in their lives by improving their quality of life and helping to eradicate the root causes of poverty. The group’s principal activity is the operation of a revolving micro-credit scheme aimed at women. They also run classes in literacy and undertake advocacy on behalf of marginalised groups.
