The Nelson Enterprise Loan Trust (NELT) is a New-Zealand based Trust that assists with the development of the Nelson City area by providing loan capital to enterprises and organisations in Nelson City or Tasman District.

The main objectives of NELT are to:

• Assist new and emerging businesses to achieve long-term success by giving them access to capital at the time it’s most needed.

• Benefit the whole community, by assisting socially and environmentally responsible enterprises that generate employment and allow skills and profits to be retained in the region.

• Enhance regional prosperity by contributing to the Nelson Tasman Regional Economic Development Strategy.
