World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities in the fight against poverty and for social justice. World Vision has been working in Chile since 1980, and currently runs programmes to improve infrastructure, to provide money and materials to help children stay on at school, a child sponsorship programme and a micro-enterprise development programme focusing on women. Special projects for specific groups include training and development of women, sustainable development and educational scholarships.
