Funding the Poor Cooperative (FPC), one of the largest micro-finance organisations in China, makes micro-credit available to the poor, especially women, in the rural areas of Hebei, Henan and Sichuan Provinces. FPC also experiments with adapting various micro-finance models, provides valuable lessons, and disseminates information on good micro-finance practices for Chinese policy makers, researchers and practitioners.
