The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) is an agency of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). It channels grants to programme priority areas focusing on poverty reduction in accordance with Norway’s development policy. Norad has focused on a number of areas: persons with disabilities, health, HIV/AIDS, anti corruption practices, gender equality, human rights, environment, private sector development well as education.
