Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS) was established in India as a consumer protection organisation. Currently, the organisation operates across India, Africa, Vietnam and the United Kingdom in five areas: consumer protection,trade and development, competition, investment and economic regulation, human development, and consumer safety. CUTS partners with organisations such as Consumers International, the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development, South Asia Watch on Trade, Economics&Environment, and the Consumer Coordination Council of India.
