UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is the world’s largest international source of funding for population and reproductive health programmes. UNFPA brings its expertise in reproductive health and population issues to Myanmar, where it works in partnership with the Government of Myanmar and non-governmental organizations. The Fund’s support to its partners focuses on reducing maternal mortality and preventing the spread of HIV, which are critical to meeting Millennium Development Goals.
