Compassion International is a Christian child advocacy ministry working for children worldwide. The organisation works with partner churches in 24 countries in projects aimed at releasing children from poverty through provision of food, shelter, education and health care. Projects are tailored to meet the needs of local communities. Compassion has been working in Colombia since 1974 and currently has 49,300 children registered on 180 projects.
