Compassion International is a Christian child advocacy ministry working for children worldwide. The organisation works with partner churches in 24 countries in projects aimed at releasing children from poverty through provision of food, shelter, education and health care. Projects are tailored to meet the needs of local communities. Compassion International has been working in Peru since 1985, and currently has 48,700 children registered in 220 projects.
