Lions Australia is a national organisation with clubs(branches) throughout Australia. Lions Clubs may either provide service (e.g, leadership training for their members) or raise money for their community through organising local events. Most of the money raised goes back into the community, either directly or indirectly through national and international projects.

Their mission are to create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.
