The Legion de la Buena Voluntad (LBV) is an international non-profit organization that works for social development in marginalized populations worldwide. It was founded in Brazil in 1950 for the purpose of helping disadvantaged populations and has since expanded its activities into Argentina, Bolivia, USA, Paraguay, Portugal and Uruguay.
LBV operates programmes, projects, and campaigns in a variety of development areas, including education, nutrition, recreation, culture, health, and integral development for children, adolescents and elderly people. Much of LBV’s funding comes through contributions of respective local communities and fund-raising events.
