Associacao de Apoio e Crianca e ao Adolescente is a Brazilian NGO dedicated to the promotion of children’s rights, linked to the German relief and development organisation, Kindernothilfe. AMENCAR works with 98 partner organisations in Brazil through its three regional offices, and currently supports more than 29,000 children through its projects which include basic education and vocational training, feeding schemes, and work with families and communities.
