Family Health International/Burundi (FHI/Burundi), a field office of Family Health International, works in Burundi through USAID and the IMPACT to prevent the spread of HIV, and improve the care and support available for those infected and at the highest risk of infection. FHI/Burundi provides technical support to the Centre de Formation et de Recherche en Médecine et Maladies Infectieuses to carry out the Behavior Surveillance Survey to ensure decision-makers have current and reliable data on HIV/AIDS in Burundi.
