African Humanitarian Action (AHA) provides programmes in capacity development, health care, public advocacy, relief and recovery, gender-based violence prevention and response, and HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria prevention and care. AHA also provides emergency, health and social services to refugees in partnership with UNHCR and others.

More than a decade later AHA continues to provide life saving humanitarian assistance to refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and local communities across Africa. To date more than 12 million people affected by crisis have benefited from the support of AHA, in 17 countries in Africa.
