The King Baudouin Foundation works to improve people’s living conditions primarily in Belgium and S.E. Europe although it does consider funding for international projects. The New York branch of the Foundation assists with fundraising in the USA. Programmes focus on social justice, civil society, governance and philanthropy. Organisations that wish to apply for funding must submit a project and complete an application form. Funding is usually donated in stages as a project progresses.
