The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation which serves mid-day meals to millions of government and government aided school children across many states of India. The vision of the organisation is ‘no child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger’ and the mission is to feed 5 million children by 2020.
