Michael and Francisca Foundation (MFF) is a registered non-organization with the corporate Affairs Commission CAC/IT/NO 95282 which is aimed at encouraging Stroke Survivors/ Cardiovascular Disease, NCDs and providing support for all impacted by them. We also prevent and educate those who do not have the condition on how to live healthy lives devoid of Stroke.
Presently I am one of the NCDA Global Advisory Committee of OVOV an initiative to NCDs meaning Our Views Our Voices of Non Communicable Diseases and also the Steering Group member by NCD Labs WHO
Presently, the project we have is “STROKE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN”
The important role that Stroke Support Organizations have in raising awareness of stroke cannot be overemphasized. Tackling stigma and supporting long term needs, often when no one else is doing this, the impact SSOs have in raising awareness and improving quality of life, but this is not adequately financed across low and middle income countries why, such should be look into
