Appalachia Habitat for Humanity is a Christian partnership that builds and finances quality affordable housing for low-income persons in Scott and Morgan Counties, Tennessee. Programme beneficiaries pay back the cost of land, materials and supervisory labor through a 20 year no-interest loan, and are required to contribute 500 hours of “sweat equity” to the project.
