Diakonia is Christian development organisation headquartered in Sweden. The organisation works with local partners for sustainable change in vulnerable communities in 30 countries world wide. The regional office for Latin America in Bogota coordinates work with partners in Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and Paraguay. Programmes supported by Diakonia focus on human rights, social justice, democratisation, gender equality and sustainable local development.
