Youth Advocates Ghana-YAG is an NGO working to eliminate sexual violence against women and children (violence against girls in school, rape, defilement and sexual harassment as well as demanding sex favours before offering employment etc). YAG works at the grassroots level with poor communities,schools, faith based organizations, government agencies and other network organizations to create awareness by standing up and speaking out against sexual violence especially as it affects women and children. YAG is involved in community education, social mobilization, and awareness
raising as well as counselling, the provision of legal advice and shelter, and making referrals. YAG also offers training and capacity building to other organisations.
