Lanka Academic Network (LAN) is a non-profit, volunteer run organisation of Sri Lankan students, teachers and professionals from around the globe that enhances educational opportunities in Sri Lanka. They are also involved with the Tsunami rehabilitation efforts as well as the search for Tsunami survivors.

LAN are also interested fostering the exchange of information and academic research pertaining to Sri Lanka. Their volunteer projects range from establishing computer centers in rural and disadvantaged communities to publishing The Lanka Academic, their online newspaper.
