The World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) is a UN agency, established to promote the effective use and protection of intellectual property worldwide. WIPO’s tasks include the promotion of an intellectual property culture, the development of international intellectual property laws and standards and the delivery of quality services in global intellectual property systems.
