P3 International is a new Hong Kong based initiative sponsored by Crossroads International. The organisation’s goal is to bridge the digital divide by providing inexpensive, basic computers to those in need. For example, P3 recycles older Palm Pilots for the world’s poorest people, and equips them, in their own languages, with information for education (primarily for children), literacy, economic opportunities (to help build small businesses), medical and health knowledge, agriculture, and basic email services.
