Telecentre.org is a worldwide network of people and organisations committed to increasing the social and economic impact of grassroots telecentres by making them stronger and better at what they do. Telecentres are public places where people can use computers, the Internet, and other technologies, to join the knowledge society on their own terms.

Telecentre.org also empowers people who use technology to promote community development by investing in the networks and organisations that work with telecentres directly. Services provided include the development of high-value products and services that communities need, knowledge sharing and research.

The telecenter.org international network currently works with more than 200 networks and organisations in 70 countries.
