Hope for Orphans and Rural Development (HORD) is a Ugandan NGO which supports orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC) as well as other vulnerable people in the community affected by HIV/AIDS. HORD runs an orphanage, engages in advocacy on behalf of children, runs HIV/AIDS awareness programmes, and provides training in agriculture and crafts for local people. HORD also supports education, and works with schools to provide scholarships for needy children.
